Summer Fever

So it's about 5:00 a.m. and i just can not sleep!! I have been thinking way to much. I have a presentation to give which i can't get out of my mind and i keep thinking about summer and what we have planned. I am so eager for the warm to come and cold to get lost! We are constantly stuck inside and im wanting out! I can't wait for the summer to be able to take a walk out side, go to the park, take Brynlee swimming and have many BBQ's! I also can't wait to get out of Cedar City for a while and see our family and friends. Though i like it here for now, i can't wait to move by the people we love and who love us! I have made some friends here but non who really understand and get me and what i have been through. However, i am grateful for those who have let us in as friends and made us feel welcome. We just booked a trip to Omaha to see Jimmy, Chelsey and Bree. It's going to be so fun but i can't help but wonder how our flight will go now that we have Brynlee. Its going to be an adventure but im ready to take it on! I wont be attending school this summer so i am taking that time to make Brynlee a baby book. My mom made me one and i love it! It's so fun to look back at all the pictures! I am also considering deleting my facebook. My sis in-law Maddie did it this year and i thought she was crazy!! I loved seeing her pics as well as her thoughts but now i am understanding why she did it. I find myself on that site approx. 6 times a day and it makes me sick. I think about all the things i could be doing with my time. Instead of surfing the web a few times a day, i need to spend that time with Bynlee. Im not sure that i will delete it cause it is a way of connecting, i just need to give it a break for a while. Well there are a few of my thoughts. Now maybe i can turn my brain off and go back to sleep!!

Spring Break

Spring break was much needed in the Judd household this year!! On friday we headed up to West Jordan to stay with family. The first part of the week was spent at Chris's families house. His parents were on a bishops retreat where they stayed at a hotel and went to dinner ( i was little jealous). Since they were gone, we volunteered to watch the kids for the night. Everything went well but some how, chris always stirs up an argument! hahaha. On saturday we went to see Mark and Maddie's new house. It was soooo cute! Little Ada showed me around the whole place. She is such a cutie. Sunday and Monday we just hung out and were lazy!! Then tuesday was the transition from the Judd house to my parents house and that meant more packing! UGH... Before we went over to my parents, i got my hair lightened then went over to mark and maddies for dinner! it so yummy! She is an awesome cook.We finally made it to my house and just hung out and did some shopping. On Thursday we went to lunch with Jenna and summer then hung out at their house for a while, then headed over to Jer and Brees for dinner and a Jersey Shore Party! On Friday, my bros, sis in laws and nieces came over and we had dinner and just hung out all night. Literally. My brother Jer and Chris decided to drive to fairview at 2 in the morning! Don't ask me why! hahaha. But they had a good time snowmobiling. They got home that night and we all ate pizza but everyone was so tired from the night before that we decided to make it an early bed time! Sunday was the day to head back to Cedar so then came more laundry and packing! We said our goodbyes and decided to head to chris's families house to say goodbye to them. Our intentions were to just stay for an hour or so but his mom was making sunday dinner and we couldn't pass that up. especially since she made 2 homemade pies! It was so yummy and we were glad we got to see everyone before we left. Spring break was sooo fun and im glad we got to spend time with or families. Now it's back to school and work. I am excited to get our routine back down though!!!

Going home....

Since we live in Cedar City, we have to travel to West Jordan to see our families. Don't get me wrong, i love going up there and seeing our families, it's the process that i hate! Here are just a few things i dread about it:
1. Cleaning- I am the kind of person who HAS to have the floors mopped, carpet vacuumed and every inch of the house dusted before we leave. If not, it eats at me our whole trip. I hate doing it but its just something that, sadly, has to be done!
2. Laundry- As some of you know, we do not have a washer or dryer in our apartment (crappy i know!!!) so before we venture home, we have to lug loads and loads of laundry to the laundry mat. Then after all that, i have to fold everything and put it away. Worst part about being a girl!
3. Picking things to bring- I hate this process cause i tear my closet apart and throw the potential items on the floor. I never know what mood i am going to be in, how the weather will be or if i wanna be lazy or dressy.
4. Packing the darn clothes- after the long process of choosing what to bring, i now have to figure out how to shove it all in a suitcase which i have to share with chris. And if your a girl, you'll understand why we hate to share.
5. Packing Brynlee- Now that we have a baby, i have to pack me and her. Sadly to say, i go through the same process. I throw her clothes on the floor and try to decide what to bring. And what a process that is.
6. Loading our SMALL car- I have a mazda 3 and they are not the most spacious cars. I am practically kissing the dashboard whenever we are in it. So you can only imagine how packed our car is when we come home. We have our suitcase, pack n play, stroller, 2 bags and for this trip home, we have 2 huge bags of clothes we are bringing home. Not a good time!!
7. Thinking of what i brought hoping i didn't forget anything- This is the WORST because i always end up forgetting something important. Since my pregnancy, my brain hasn't been working quit the way i would like it too so now i just expect for something to be missing when we finally arrive.
8. The LONG drive- Before we had Brynlee, i hated the 3 hour (sometimes longer) drive up to WJ. But now its more stressful and longer. Brynlee hates her car seat and she is bound to scream at some point. It's so sad to hear. I just wish our car could fly or we had our own jet. Life would be so much easier!!!
Well that is what i go through before we go home. And the sad part is, we have to do EVERYTHING again to come back down to Cedar!!! I just had to do a little venting, but it's ok to feel bad for me! hahaha.

All about Brynlee

As i sit and think about what life was like before Brynlee came into our lives or what we did, I can't. I feel like all we did was sit around, go to school and work. Pretty boring i know. Now our whole life revolves around our little angel. There is never a boring moment in our house anymore. We are either feeding her, changing her diapers, playing with her, talking to her, reading stories etc. She has brought so much happiness to our lives and we can never imagine life without her. It is so fun to see how much she changes and how her personality keeps getting bigger. She smiles ALL the time and the best is when she first wakes up and see's your face and gives you a huge grin! She is constantly talking to us and we can tell when she is happy cause she sqweels and when she is mad cause she grunts hahaha! she loves pulling my hair, standing, sitting and playing under her jungle. She has also mastered the skill of rolling over from her tummy to her back. She has filled our lives with so much joy, patience and love! I am so excited for all her milestones and to watch her grow!

Valentines Day

For Valentines Day i got Brynlee a cute shirt and a stuffed animal and Chris got her a cute Elmo so she was a little spoiled and thats the way we like it :). We decided not to do much for each other and every year we always end up doing something hahaha. I started with just getting chris a card and some candy and making him dinner and cookies, he started with getting me nothing!! hahaha but when Valentines Day came, he decided to get me a kitchen aid. I was so excited cause i have been wanting one forever! But walmart didn't have any in stock so i had to wait 2 weeks for it :(. I got (or let) Chris spend 120 bucks on games for the Wii. It's like a mod thing where this guy put a TON of games on it for us. It's pretty cool but i don't care for it as much as Chris does hahaha. It was a successful V-day in the Judd household!

Super Bowl

Over Super Bowl weekend we thought it would be fun to go home and visit our families so they could see Brynlee. Chris's mom came down to cedar a couple weeks earlier with his brothers and sisters for a few days but i got the flu so it wasn't fun for me! Anyways we went home and stayed at my parents the first night before they left for St. Thomas (Jerks lol). we hung out with my whole family and got ice cream. it was really fun to see everyone especially my two nieces. I wish we could see everyone more :(. Then we headed to chris's parents for the rest of the weekend. We went to a movie and hung out. Then on Super Bowl we had dinner and watched the game. It was a much needed break and we had a lot of fun.

Chris's Birthday

Chris's Birthday was on January 17th and he was turing the big 22! Yes...i am older then him :) hehe. We went to St. George that weekend and went shopping, visited my aunt, and went to dinner. It was so fun to get out of cedar for a little while! Then on his actual birthday we didn't have school so i decided i was gonna get him a steak and make dinner and brownies for him. We had some friends over and had a good time! Chris had a good birthday and loved that he could spend it with Brynlee :)

New Years

This year for New years was pretty low key. We ate dinner at my parents house then went over to Chris's parents house to plays games and of course we ate more food there too! We had alot of fun and won some money so it was a successful New Years. We got to spend time with Mark, Maddie, Ada and Hannah. We don't really get to see them much so when we do, it's allways a good time! It was my little brothers 16th birthday on the 1st so he had some friends over for New Years and his Birthday so we went back to my parents house and hung out with him! I was exhausted so right after 12:00 a.m. me and Brynlee were out cold!!

CHRISTMAS

On christmas Eve we went to my Grandparents house for dinner, games and gifts. Brynlee wore the cutest dress that said "santa baby" on it. It was so exciting to have my whole family be able to meet Brynlee for the first time. Finally it was Christmas. I love this time of year and it was even better having Brynlee! We were at my parents house this year for Christmas morning. My brother came storming in our room to wake us up to open presents. I was so tired that i didn't really care! I finally dragged myself out of bed and went into the living room. Our stockings were all filled and laid out on the couch. There were TONS of presents under the tree. We all opened our presents and i got a ton of clothes, make up, work out shoes and jewelry. Chris got a Jazz Jersey, clothes and shoes. We got Brynlee a cute stocking and put some clothes, socks, books, and a stuffed animal in it for her. My parents also got her TONS of clothes, toys and a fun toy for when she can sit up. We were then off to IHop with Chris's family. After we ate breakfast, we went to chris's parents house to open gifts. I got a cute sweat suit from Victoria Secret and money, Chris got some sweats and money and Brynlee got clothes and a fun Jungle toy that she can lay under. We were excited about that and she loved it. That night, we went to Chris's Grandma's house for the Judd party! We ate dinner, played games and opened presents. It was such a perfect Christmas and we were glad we could spend time with family and have our sweet angel for Christmas. Brynlee was by far the best Christmas present we got this year!!!

Family Pictures

After the long ride home, we had family pictures with my family 2 days later. I was not very happy with having to take pictures 2 weeks after having a baby. I had the baby weight and i couldn't put on a pair of pants cause of my c-section. However, when we get there, it wasn't to bad. I just made sure the lady didn't take pics of me from the waist down cause i was wearing sweats :) hahaha. We got some really cute family pics and some WAY cute pics of Brynlee. I wish we would have got some more of us 3 but it was a LONG day and i was exhausted!! After the pictures we all went out to lunch. It was a fun filled day!! :)

LONG drive home!!!!!

Instead of having one LONG post about everything from Brynlee's birth to now... i decided to break it up! Anyways..... After we had Brynlee, my family came down the weekend after to see her then we were off to SLC for 3 weeks for Christmas. We were so excited but like everything in our life, the trip up there wouldn't be easy. We left on friday at around 5:00 but before that, we had af full day planned. I had my 2 week check up which we waiting for about an hour, then we we had Brynlee's 2 week check up where we waited like an hour and a half in the waiting room then about another half hour when we were finally in the room! then after all that i had to go take my stupid math final and that took about 2 hours, meanwhile chris had the baby at Big-O tires getting new tires on the car. He finally picked me up and we headed home to pack the car. With the car all packed, we were on our way. Then it started to snow and the traffic was horrible. Brynlee was screaming so we pulled over to feed her and change her diaper. But after a long 5 HOUR drive she had had enough! She screamed non stop for about 45 minutes till we got to my parents house. I started to cry with her and chris was yelling at me to stop crying. it was a huge mess!! I was sooooo happy to get out of the stupid car and get to my dads. I was pooped.

Brynlee is here :)

Ya ya i know.... i am the worst blogger! Before i didn't really know what to blog about because it was just me and chris to talk about and that was boring. Our life was just pretty much work and school but now we have a baby girl which gives me someone else to blog about! :) We had her on December 6th 2010 after a long, sick filled pregnancy with some unexpected hospital visits along the way. Going back to that eventful day.....i woke up with some contractions and leaking which i thought was my water breaking. I wasn't sure though because it wasn't a gush like how everyone explains it. So i went back to bed, not wanting another false alarm. I got up to go to the bathroom and i noticed blood. I was then was frantic! I told chris we had to go cause that wasn't normal. We got to the hospital at about 7:30 a.m. praying that i wouldn't be sent home again! i got checked and my water did break. The doc came in and said i would be staying! HOORAY!! I was soooo excited to meet my little girl. However, she wouldn't come easy. I wasn't contracting so they gave me a pill to help me contract and dialate. OH MAN was i contracting but NOT dialating! My contractions began to come every 30 seconds and the pain was unbearable. Because they were coming so soon and so close, Brynlee's heart rate started dropping. About an hour after getting the epidural, which was the best thing ever, i was in the OR room being cut open. I was kind of in shock. I hadn't prepared myself for a C-section. About 10 minutes later, our sweet baby girl was born at 6:42 p.m.! i was so happy but unfortuneately i wasn't able to see her for about 45 minutes till i was done getting all stiched up. After i got settled in the room i got to hold her for the first time. I was so emotional and happy to be finally holding the baby i had been carrying for 9 months! After 3 lONG days in the hospital, i was ready to get my baby home! We were looking forward to having our little one at home and using all of her stuff that had been sitting in her room for months! :)
