HE GOT THE JOB!!!!!

So Chris interviewed for a job at Sysco last Friday and we have been waiting and waiting to hear back from them. The interview went really well and Chris had all the qualifications for the job and the CFO said she would have her decision by monday (last monday) and we never heard anything. Needless to say, we were both stressed! We were getting so anxious and sick of waiting but today we got the good news! I was at Walmart when Chris called me. You'd think someone could hold in their excitement but nope, not me! I screamed and stopped in my tracks hahaha. I couldn't believe it! I proceeded to wonder around Walmart lost not remembering what i came here for. But now the reality has set in and we are moving NEXT WEEKEND!! AHHHHH... there is SO much to do and so little time. And on top of that, i will be the only packing and cleaning while Chris finishes things at school. It is going to be a CRAZY week but i am so excited. We have been waiting for this day for a while. I am so proud of Chris and all the hard work he has been doing for our family!! He is the best :) YAY!!

HALLOWEEEEEEN

We had a pretty fun Halloween this year. I got to dress Bryn up as a cute kitty and show her off. We didn't go trick-or-treating cause Bryn is just to little but I took her to a couple of my friends houses to show her off! Chris was at school most of the day so i just made Maddies Lasagna soup and it was delicious. I also made some yummy pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!! We had a fun relaxing Halloween. I can't wait till next year when Bryn can go door to door and get lots of candy :)

Halloween Party

We went to our first Halloween Party with Brynlee and it was so fun! It was supposed to be a couples party with no kids but we couldn't find a babysitter so we weren't going to go. I really wanted to get out of the house and mingle with people our own age so my friend just told us to bring her. It turned out fine taking her cause she can't run around yet and bug everyone so it was still fun for everyone! We played fun games and ate good, fattening food!! Brynlees costume is a cat but me and Chris were dressing up as basketball players and we decided to dress Bryn up as one too so we would all match. It turned out really cute!! I am still going to dress her up as a cat on Halloween though so i will post pics of that later. But here are some pics from our party :)

So Sweet

Chris's Grandma Judd made Brynlee this really cute jacket and beanie when she was born but it was 12 months so she hasn't had the chance to wear it till now. So today along with her birthday photo shoot i took some cute pics in her outfit to send to Grandma Judd. It was the sweetest thing i have ever seen. She looked so innocent and cute!! I loved it :)

Vegas Trip

As i was going through our pics, i realized i haven't posted anything about our Vegas trip we had with some of Chris's family. Chris's dad took us to vegas to watch the SUU vs. UNLV game and we had a BLAST! The game was so fun and there were so many people there. The stadium made SUU's stadium look like a high school field!! We all were matching in our SUU gear and the kids had tattoos. It was so cute. Brynlee had tons of fun looking at people and clapping with the crowd. After the game we went to P.F. Chengs and it was delish. The next morning we swam and went shopping. Me and Nicole had fun doing that and got some cute things!! I think i found a new shopping buddy when we move home :) After that we headed back to Cedar. Then the next weekend Chris's family came down to watch Cam and Mack run the Marathon in St. George. Jimmy was also here so we got to see him. It was fun to see them but man was it hot in St. George. We got down there at 10:00 and it was already 90 degrees!!!! Poor Bryn was in a long sleeve and pants so i stripped her down and wished i could do the same haha. I do not do well with heat and i was seriously having a anxiety attack! After that and Vegas, i vowed i would never live anywhere where it is 80 + degrees at 9:00 at night! I was miserable! After that we went to the SUU game. It was a fun couple of weeks :)

Judd Family Pics

I know i just wrote a HUGE post but i forgot to mention the family pics we had with Chris's Family. They turned out cute but i was a mess that day. I didn't have anything to wear so needless to say, i hate my outfit but everyone else looks good! It was fun and im glad we finally have a Judd family pic. I didn't really like the lighting of the the original pics so i just played around with them and changed the lighting a little bit so here are some pics. :)

10 Months and FUN

Brynlee is now 10 months (almost 11) and i still can't believe it! She has gotten so big so fast! Even though it makes me sad that she is getting bigger everyday and soon won't be my little baby anymore, i love this stage. She is so much to play with now! She loves to be chased around the apartment. She laughs and laughs and collapses till i get her! Its hilarious. I got her a new baby doll for her stroller and she loves being the mommy to her baby. She carries, well drags, it everywhere. She loves "cooking" with mommy which really means pulling down all the towels and playing on the rug in the kitchen haha. She has started talking a lot more and is actually really smart. She has a little Jazz basketball and we play with it almost everyday and the other day she grabbed it and started saying "ball.. ball" over and over. I was so amazed and proud! The funniest thing she has started doing is crawling as fast as she can to the bathroom when she hears the water turn on for her bath, my bath or chris's bath. Once she gets in there, she stands up on the tubs and automatically starts laughing so hard and splashes the water. It is so freaking funny!! I love it. But don't get me wrong, she definitely has her mama's and grandmas attitude! She has started hitting, screaming and throws temper tantrums. She is so dramatic when she is pissed. She throws herself back and arches! Its kinda funny how dramatic she really is. I just love being this cute girls Mom and being with her everyday. She has brought so much joy and happiness to our little family and i can't wait to watch her grow! I can't believe she is going to be 1 in a couple months! AWWW.... LOL.
Well anyways, last week we went up north to visit family, get pictures taken and get chris's knee looked at. It was a really fun and traumatic weekend. We got to see Grandma Lamreaoux (sorry if i totally botched that) and that was really fun to see her. She is so sweet and we talked a lot. We are planning on going to Idaho to see her in the next few months! Denise and I shopped till we dropped but had a blast doing it. We were exhausted so we decided to stay in and BBQ. It was really fun just chilling with everyone. Then saturday, i shopped till i dropped with Al on a search for family picture clothes for the boys. I can easily say i was sick of shopping after the weekend. I was supposed to shop for my birthday but i had enough haha. Then sunday we hung out with my fam for a while then went to sunday dinner at the Judds. We got to see Maddie, Mark, Ada and Hannah. I always love seeing them and hanging out. But this is where the traumatic part comes in.... Mark was feeling sick at dinner and Brynlee wasn't acting like her self. All of a sudden mark is puking then Brynlee starts puking all over me!! Aww.... it was disgusting and i felt bad for my poor baby. So after that all happened, Chris took me and Brynlee back to my parents house so we could get cleaned up and i could put Brynlee down. Poor thing. Then I got a call from Chris saying that i had his grandmas keys in my purse. We had to pick her up cause she just had surgery and we took her car and left mine there cause my car is to small. So i had to run the keys back up there. But i didn't mind cause i got to talk with everyone more. The fun didn't stop there. The next day was picture day and brynlee's nose was like a faucet!! I didn't really wanna take her out in the cold for pics while she was feeling sick but you would never know she was sick cause she was so happy and did awesome while taking pics. However, that night she puked all over again :( it was not a fun night! Then the whole next day she had diarrhea. We went to lunch with Denise before we left and she had the BIGGEST blow out ever! Thank goodness she was there to help me cause Chris runs the other way when that stuff happens lol. After that, chris had his appt and that took like 3 freakin hours! He is getting surgery on his knee in November to get his miniscus fixed. Im glad he is finally getting it fixed cause it has been killing him. Then we headed back to cedar. Bryn was miserable. She was feeling sick and i felt so bad! We were all exhausted and just crashed when we came home. Then Chris and I both had the flu the next day! Ugh..... it was honestly the worst day ever. I had to take care of me, chris and brynlee while feeling like crap! It was not fun. Well that is our little update. sorry if it was an overload!! :)

Remembering my Mom

October 9th, 2006 my mom and best friend passed away. It was the most devastated day of my life and it was really hard for me to accept for a long time. This time of year is very hard for me. I try not to remember her passing and how hard it was on me and my brothers, but to remember the good times i had with her. She was an amazing woman who was always there for me. Given, she had some struggles in life, as we all do, but that did not define who she was as a Mom. She always tried to give us everything we wanted or needed. She was the only person I could talk to about anything and everything! She was always willing to listen and gave me such great advice. I miss her so much and wish she could be here to see Brynlee grow. I know she is always with me and watching down on us. I just sometimes wish I could talk to her one last time, give her kiss and tell her how much i love her. I didn't get to have that closure before she passed away. But I know she knew how much we loved her. I can't wait till the day i get to see her again and give her the biggest hug and never let go! I know she has guided me and helped me become the person I am today. I love you and miss you soooooooo much!!!!

Leaving Cedar City

So the time has come for us to leave Cedar City. Chris is in his last year of school for his masters and will only have 2 online classes left during Spring semester. I was planning on staying here till next summer till Chris came to me and said he was ready to head back north. I was soooo excited!! I asked him why he wants to move back and he said that he felt there was really nothing here for us anymore. We could stay here making nothing or move home and get real jobs. After hearing his side of things, it all made sense. Plus the not having to travel part sounded amazing! I have been searching for apartments online and have found a few that i really like with good prices. We are going home for a few days in a couple weeks so chris can get his knee looked at and were gonna spend a day looking at apartments. As much as I'm so excited to move back home by family i will miss cedar city and all the memories we have made here. Its been fun but i am ready to start a knew chapter!

UPDATES...UPDATES...UPDATES...

Wow it seemed like forever since i have blogged. A lot has happened in the last few weeks. I have been trying and trying to get/help Brynlee to crawl and it wasn't working. I was worried she would never crawl but UNEXPECTEDLY she started crawling on her own at Chris's parents house. I was in complete shock. I knew there had to be something good she wanted and surprisingly, it turned out to be a small button. hahahaha. That girl cracks me up! I don't even know why we have toys for her cause all she wants are water bottles, my jewelry or anything she can't have! That was such a fun milestone to watch! Anyways, over labor day weekend we went up north. This time we stayed at the Judds. It was a lot of fun. That friday we went to Swiss Days with chris's parents and Denise and I went crazy the boys not so much!! There were so many little shop things and we were both loving it! We both got a couple cute fall/halloween decorations and Denise got brynlee a quiet book! She loved it especially eating all the little pieces! hahaha. I had a ton of fun shopping with Denise! I want to do it again next year! Then on Saturday it was my niece Summers 1st birthday party. They had it at Sugarhouse Park and it was decorated soooo cute! We had a bbq, summer opened her gifts and dove into her smash cake! It was so fun and she was so cute when she opened all her gifts. She also started walking really good with a little stroller she got. I can't believe how big she is now! Then on sunday i shopped till i dropped for winter clothes for Brynlee. All the stores had amazing sales so i was able to get her alot of cute things to hopefully last her through the winter! On monday we drove back to cedar. It was nice to be home. Since we have been home, chris has been SUPER busy with school leaving me home alone for the majority of the day! I thought staying home was gonna be boring and i would be lazy but to my surprise, i have kept pretty busy! I have been working out alot and Brynlee is a handful! She has become the ultimate mamas girl lately! She won't even go to chris for more then 10 minutes. Its kind of exhausting but i love it at the same time! :) Brynlee is also a master at standing up by herself with the help of furniture! I was so excited at first but we have already had a few close calls. She stood up on coffee table and knocked the candy dish over and it fell on her head. it was soooo sad :( We also had her 9 month check up today. She is:
weight- 19.15 lbs (68%)
height- 27 inches (29%)
head- 46 cm (92%)
So basically she is short, chubby and smart!! hahahaha. While we were at the doctors, he couldn't stop saying how beautiful she is and that i need to get her on a magazine cover!! lol it was so funny! I love her so much and love seeing her grow! I can't wait for the next milestones to come. I am so excited for her birthday coming up. I've already started planning :) It's going to be fun! I have also almost completed her baby book!! I only have a few more pages to do included halloween, thanksgiving and her birthday! I've been having so much fun putting her book together and can't wait to share it with her and our family! Well thats pretty much what we have been up to lately. :)

School

So today was the first day back to school. I was pretty excited to go back and get into a routine and finally get off the couch and do something. I enrolled in 3 classes and chris enrolled in 4 classes this semester. We knew that it was going to be tough having to swap brynlee 3 times on tuesdays and thursdays and juggling studied and family time. I didn't realize how tough it was gonna be till i got home and chris said he had a 50 question quiz to do tomorrow and i had a 50 question assignment to do that was due the next day in my Math 1050 class. We both sat down to begin our homework and the screaming and crying began! I tried holding brynlee and doing my homework, feeding her treats and giving her toys and none of those worked. On top of that, i had NO clue how to do any of the problems!! After 2 freaking hours of trying to figure out the problems i lost it. At that moment me and Brynlee were crying! I just didn't realize how hard this was going to be. After about an hour of discussion, Chris and I decided that its not the best thing for our family for me to go to school this semester. I was so bummed when we decided that but i know that its whats best for us right now. I am definitely looking forward to when i can go back and give it my all! I am not the best at Math and i need hours and hours to study and i honestly would rather have that time to spend with my baby girl! I am sad but i know that i will eventually finish! :)

Vaca Up North/Anniversary

A couple weeks ago Jimmy, chels and Bree came to Utah so we headed up north to see them. We had a busy week ahead of us!! On saturday we celebrated my nieces birthday so friday i shopped till i dropped getting her a gift and everything for the party. Saturday was also Chris's grandmas big 80th birthday party so i went over the help chris's mom prepare for the big party then i headed back to my dads to get ready for Presleys party! Needless to say i was pooped by the end of the night but we had so much fun. Presley party was a success and we got to see all the Judd family which is always fun! Monday was our 3 year anniversary and chris's dad put everyone in the Grand America hotel for the night. We we stoked cause it happened to fall on our anniversary so we were excited to have a night to relax in a nice hotel. We got there at 3 and immediately went down to the pool and swam. After swimming, all the older kids and Brynlee went to Biaggis at Gateway for dinner. It was delish! After dinner me, chris and Brynlee just hung out at the hotel and ate Cheesecake that Chris's mom got for everyone! The next day everyone had to leave super early but we had nothing going so we just lounged for a while and went down to get breakfast. Did i mention how spendy the Grand America is???? We got 2 bagels, 2 orange juices, banana and a small coffee and it was a whopping 18 BUCKS! It was ridiculous but delicious! On Wednesday we had family pics with the Judds and i think they turned out really cute. I love family pictures and everyone looked so cute! Brynlee was SO fun and SO cute during the pictures! After pics we all went to pizza factory then we had to head back to Cedar cause chris had to work the next day. We didn't get in till 1 a.m. I could barely stay awake but when i would doze off, i would wake up to chris singing and dancing to keep himself awake! It was hilarious. Well our summer has been busy and full of fun. I can't believe its almost over. We are looking forward to being in Cedar for a little while though. We have done WAY to much driving!!

24th of July

Wow....July had flown by! I can't believe its August and school is about to start. I have some down time so i will update you all on what we have been up to. On the 24th of July we went up to my family cabin for the weekend. We had so much fun and the weather was amazing. We went to the Rodeo down in Fairview and i ate way to much. It was so fun to take Brynlee! She loved all the horses and clapped the WHOLE time! hahaha. Up at the cabin we just hung out, went fishing, and rode the four wheelers. It was a much needed trip. We have been so busy and it was nice to be able to just relax with family!

4th of July weekend

About a week before the 4th of July weekend i was desperately trying to convince Chris to go to my cabin then drive from the cabin to his parents house for a few days. So after a LONG week of convincing him, he said yes and we headed up on Friday. I have been wanting to go camping for SO long and the weather this year has delayed that! So needless to say, i was so excited to get up there. We arrived in Fairview and had dinner at the little cafe there. The food is so good there by the way! After dinner we headed up the canyon to the cabin. Everyone else in my family arrived a little later that night. It was so nice up there and we just lounged, went fishing, lounged some more and had good "camping" food! Brynlee loved it up there and loved playing with her little cousin Summer. I was sad to leave on Sunday but excited to go see Chris's family. We drove to West Jordan on Sunday and had an AMAZING home cooked dinner that consisted of the best pork chops ever! Denise knew they are my favorite so she made them just for me :) The next day was the 4th and we planned on going swimming but the weather was crappy so me, Brynlee, Brookie and Denise stayed back while the others went. I took Brynlee to my parents so they could see her cute 4th of July outfit then we had a BBQ and watched some cook fireworks at the Judds. It was so fun to see Mark, Maddie, Ada and Hannah and watch all the girls play with each other! On Tuesday we went out to lunch with Denise and Coco to a sushi place called Makodos. It was delicious! If you ever go, try the Playboy roll. It was by far our favorite roll there! That night we got ice cream and did a few fireworks at my parents house. On wednesday we headed back to Cedar. We had such a fun 4th of July and i am so glad we got to see our family. Living in Cedar i tend to get a little home sick and want to go up and see our families. I am glad that we live close enough that all the girls can play and our families can see Brynlee. I can't wait till we can (hopefully) move closer so we don't have the long drive and long months away from everyone!

Cedar Visits

This past weekend my brother Jeremy and my niece Presley came down to stay with us. We had way to much fun! They got here on friday around 6 and we BBQ'd hamburgers and hotdogs. After dinner we went outside and played for a while. Presley is sooo much fun to play around with and oh man is she quick! haha. After playing for a while we went to Maggie Moos and got some ice cream and stayed up and talked for a while. Saturday was busy. We got up pretty early and the boys went to cross fit to work out. I laid Brynlee down for a nap then ran around outside with Presley. After the boys got home we went swimming then came home for lunch. After the girls naps we got ready and headed over the the Groovefest going on at the park. We were a little nervous and curious as to what goes on at a Groovefest but it was pretty fun. They had tons of blowup things that Presley played on. We also walked around and looked at all the fun things people were selling. After that we headed up the canyon and went to Rusty's for dinner. It was soooo yummy!!! After dinner we headed up to Cedar Breaks to see what is was all about and it was beautiful. We couldn't believe we hadn't been up there before and we live so close to it. We will definitely be going up there more!! Then we came home, made brownies and played outside. Then on Sunday we went to breakfast and watched a movie before they had to leave. It was such a fun weekend and i am so glad that we got to spend time with them! I was sad when they left! Chris and I love when family come to stay with us instead of us driving up there all the time but we love family so we don't mind :) We talked about going to Zions so hopefully they will come back down soon and we can go on some more adventures!!

Father Day

For fathers day Brynlee and I got Chris a new pair of Oakley sunglasses that he has been wanting but i gave them to him before our Omaha trip as an early Fathers Day gift. So we got him a card and gave it to him this morning and reminded him that the sunglasses were for Fathers day so he didn't feel gipped by us :). It was a fun daddy day. We woke up and i made Chris breakfast then we just hung out. For dinner we had steak, grilled shrimp, potatoes, corn and homemade rolls. It was sooooo good!! And for desert he wanted the boxed brownies so as i type, they are baking and smell delicious! It was such a fun day and Chris deserved every bit of it. For a first time dad he has been amazing. He is always here when i need his help with Brynlee and loves to take care of her. I love watching those two play together. He always knows how to make her laugh. He is such a wonderful and husband and daddy. Brynlee and I couldn't ask for a better man to be in our lives. WE LOVE YOU!
Also on the subject of Fathers Day, i just wanted to say how much i love my dad and thank him for everything he has done for me. He has been there through all of the hard times in my life. He is an amazing dad and an amazing grandpa to Brynlee. He is so cute with her and she just adores him. I swear, every time he holds her she has a permanent smile on her face. Thanks for all you do daddy. I love you!
I also want to wish Craig, my father in-law, a happy Fathers Day. He is such an awesome guy and does all he can for his kids. He is also an amazing grandpa to Brynlee. We are so lucky to have him in our lives. Thanks for all you do. We love you! :)

TEETH!!

Brynlee has finally gotten her two bottom teeth! One of them is almost all the way out and the other just started to poke through. I can't believe my little baby is getting teeth already. I can't wait till she gets more teeth and i can feed her cheerios and her little puff treats. I have been trying to get a picture of her teeth so when i finally get her to let me i will post it!

6 months!!!

WOW, the past 6 months have flown by and my little girl is now half way to 1 year old! Brynlee had her 6 month appointment last wednesday and she is now 18.4 lbs, 25.5 inches, 86% is weight and 35% in height so needless to say she is short and fat but oh sooooo cute! Looking back on the past 6 months, i can not believe how much she has changed. She went from cuddling with me in bed to not wanting to lay down and be still. She used to lay on the floor and sometimes fall asleep and now she only wants to sit up and play with toys. She used to make little sweet coos, now she screams, spits and says "gaga" constantly. She is such a fun baby and already has soooo much personality! Everyday Chris tells me how much me and Brynlee are alike. I loved when she was a sweet little newborn but i honestly love the age she is at now and i can't wait till she gets older and an talk and walk (i know i won't be saying that when she is actually talking and walking/running away from me) but right now its sounds so fun! I love her to death and can't wait to see her personality grow even more! :)

Brynlee's Baby Book

I have never thought of myself as the crafty type with tons of fabulous ideas. So when i decided it was time to start workin on Brynlee's baby book, i got worried. I tried to sort out my ideas and things i needed to get before i started this huge adventure. I picked all the pictures i wanted (of course i forgot a few i wanted) and started getting some cute ideas for what papers to get. As i stood in the paper isle at JoAnnes, ideas starting to come to me. However, i didn't get to excited because i knew that the ideas in my head probably wouldn't look the same when i started putting everything together. Knowing that this most likely wouldn't turn out as cute as i had imagined, i had soooooo much fun picking out cute paper and getting really cute stickers and things to put with her pictures. I have only done a few pages and still haven't finished them quit yet and there are still holidays and more pics i want to add as Brynlee keeps growing. My plan is to have this baby book be her "First Year Book" so we still have some fun adventures to include. Im hoping i can have it all done before her First Birthday (excluding birthday party pics) so i can show her and share it with our family. I hope that one day when she is older, she will enjoy this book and be able to look back at pictures of us and her. I can't wait to finish this and i will post pics of some of it when i am finished! Wish me luck!!! :)

OMAHA

Chris's brother Jimmy and his wife Chelsey moved to Omaha about 2 years ago and we have wanted to go visit them for a while. We had planned for last summer but i was prego and very sick so we weren't able to make it out there so we decided that this summer would be perfect. We went out there for a week at the end of May and it was SO much fun. We got there on Wednesday night and they picked us up and we went to this really good restaurant. Then we just went back to their apartment and hung out. Oh and their apartment is so nice and huge. I was in shock and a little jealous hahaha. The next day we got up and hung out then went to the this AMAZING sushi place for lunch. It was all you can eat for only 13 bucks. That sound a little sketchy but they make it fresh and it was so good. Before that, Chris had only had a california roll and couple other ones so i didn't know if he would like it but he LOVED it. I was so happy he loved it cause now he can take me out for sushi more often!!! After lunch we went to the mall and shopped till we dropped. Then on Friday we got up early and went to the Zoo. The zoo there is awesome. The exhibits were amazing and we had a ton of fun. After the Zoo we went to California Tacos. We saw it on the show Diners, Drive Ins and Dives so we had to tell to try it when they moved out there and it was amazing. I wish we had one in Utah cause i would literally eat there every week. Later that night me and Chels went to Wicked. We saw the show in L.A. a few years ago and it was really good so we were both wondering if this would live up to our exspectations and it did. The singers were amazing. The staging wasn't as good but it was good for Omaha!. Then on Saturday, the boys went golfing and we took the girls out to lunch and shopping. After shopping, we met the boys at Wing Nuts. I love wings and anything hot so i was super excited. We all ordered the Hot wings and everyone was dying but me of course haha. Chris was crying, chelsey was sweating and Jimmy was doing all the above! It was hilarious watching them. Sunday was just a relaxing day. We just hung out at the house, ate amazing homemade bbq pizza and went on a walk. On monday we went to the pool and laid out then had a really good dinner for memorial day. Chelsey made the most amazing ribs i have ever had with garlic potatoes, fruit and homemade quac and chips. It was soooo yummy!!! All day Chris had been talking about that sushi place and how he wanted to go back there so we all decided to go back on tuesday for our last day. Plus we had to take advantage of the all you can eat sushi for 13 bucks on more time!! So the next day, i got up early and started packing up then we went to lunch, came back and packed up the car and went to a huge bridge they had where Nebraska and Iowa split. It was really cool! We had such a good time out there and it was nice to spend time with Jimmy, Chelsey and Bree. I hope we can go out there again or where ever they move next!!!

Mothers Day

We went up to Salt Lake the day Chris graduated because we were babysitting for Chris's parents while they went to Hawaii so we were up there for Mothers Day. I had been hinting to him that i wanted something with Brynlee's birthstone on it but everything was pretty spendy so i didn't think i would get anything like that. So like a week before mothers day, chris mentioned that he got me something and kept rubbing it in. As he was rubbing it in, i looked on my email and there was an ad for 60% off all jewelry at Kays. I had to show him and give him a hint again even though he had already gotten me something. And before i knew it, he was on the phone with Kay trying to get something discounted that he had already boughten. I was soooo excited because i knew it was something with Brynlee's birthstone but i didn't know what. I could hardly stand waiting and chris wanted to give it to me early but i wouldn't let him. I wanted to be surprised on mothers day. So that morning, we woke up and he hurried and got up and grabbed my gift. I opened the box and in it was a gorgeous necklace with Brynlee's birthstone. I was sooo excited and a little emotional. It only got worse when i opened the card and inside was Brynlee's hand print for her signature. It was the cutest thing i had ever seen. Then after all the excitment, i wanted to go to breakfast. So me, chris and brynlee went to Ihop and it was delicious as always. After breakfast we went up to my mom's grave but it was pouring rain so we couldn't stay long. Then we had a little party at my parents house then went to Chris's parents for another dinner. It was such a wonderful first mothers day ever. Chris spoiled me and i love him for everything he does for me.

GRADUATION

I haven't had much time to blog lately so now i am going to try and catch up on everything we have done. Chris graduated in May with his bachelors in Accounting. He was officially done in December but walked after spring semester. I was SO excited to see him walk and get his diploma. His family and my family came down to Cedar to watch him so i decided to throw him a fun little graduation party. I got up super early and made a layered cake, cupcakes and rice crispy treats then decorated our apartment. I also got him some Ed Hardy cologne and 2 T-shirts he has been wanting and he loved them all. It was so fun to have our families come down here to Chris walk and join us in our little celebratory party!! I was such a proud wife watching him get his diploma. He has worked very hard and i am so proud of him and his accomplishments. However, for most people, graduating means leaving the small town of Cedar and embarking on a whole new adventure. Well....not for us. Chris is still enrolled in school and working on getting his masters in Accounting. Watching him graduate was so excited but it also felt like a tease because we are still stuck here till next summer. We are both looking forward to what the future holds and where life will take us!! :)

Easter Weekend

I have been looking forward to Easter for along time now. Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Growing up, my family would do a HUGE easter egg hunt for all the kids and we would get HUGE easter baskets full of fun stuff! I always looked forward to the new outfit i would get on easter morning. So now that we have Brynlee, i was excited to carry on those traditions. We we went up to SLC on friday. We decided to stay at chris's parents house the whole weekend so we didn't have to pack up our stuff and move it to my parents. So friday night we went to dinner then watched a movie at the Judd's. Chris went to the dunes with my brother for the day on saturday so i figured i would go to my parents house and spend some time with them. Chris left at 5:45 in the morning and Brynlee woke up at 7:00 so we had an early start. I got us both ready and we headed to my dads. My parents were watching my niece Presley so i colored some easter eggs with her. She kept asking why Brynlee wasn't helping so i decided to put her next to Pres so she could be involved in the egg coloring process. It was soooo cute. Then me and my sister in-law went on a shopping trip. We went to the cheesecake factory for lunch then shopped till we dropped!!! Our intentions were to just go to a few stores for US. Oh no, we ended up shopping for the little girls for a few hours then we quickly ran into the stores we wanted. By the time we were done, we had spent 5 long hours at the mall. It was sooo much fun and the girls were so good but i was exhausted by the time i got home. When chris and the boys got home, we all went to Iggy's for dinner and hung out for a little bit after wards. I was so tired and ready to hit the sack. The next morning was easter so i had to put Brynlee's basket together. Easter was finally here. I was so excited. When Brynlee woke up, i fed her oatmeal and then the kids got their baskets from the easter bunny. We got Brynlee a book, movie, stuffed bunny and an outfit. She was so excited and she loved her bunny. I was a happy mommy. Then it was time to put her cute easter dress on that i had been looking forward to for a month. And oh man was she the cutest baby!!!! We then headed to my dads for the annual easter egg/basket hunt. Brynlee got spoiled! She got 2 new outfits, toys galore, bunny ears, food and money. She had so much fun playing with all her new toys! Then we ate lunch and headed back to the Judd's for their easter party. Everyone but the Omaha and London Judd's were there. Needless to say, there were 39 people!! it was very crowded but it was sooo much fun to see everyone and catch up. All the kids played together and the food was amazing!! We were all exhausted at the end of the night but we had so much fun. I love easter and the time we get to spend with our families. Having Brynlee makes the holidays more exciting because we get to make our own family traditions!!!! I hope everyone had a good Easter :)
