Brynlee is here :)
Ya ya i know.... i am the worst blogger! Before i didn't really know what to blog about because it was just me and chris to talk about and that was boring. Our life was just pretty much work and school but now we have a baby girl which gives me someone else to blog about! :) We had her on December 6th 2010 after a long, sick filled pregnancy with some unexpected hospital visits along the way. Going back to that eventful day.....i woke up with some contractions and leaking which i thought was my water breaking. I wasn't sure though because it wasn't a gush like how everyone explains it. So i went back to bed, not wanting another false alarm. I got up to go to the bathroom and i noticed blood. I was then was frantic! I told chris we had to go cause that wasn't normal. We got to the hospital at about 7:30 a.m. praying that i wouldn't be sent home again! i got checked and my water did break. The doc came in and said i would be staying! HOORAY!! I was soooo excited to meet my little girl. However, she wouldn't come easy. I wasn't contracting so they gave me a pill to help me contract and dialate. OH MAN was i contracting but NOT dialating! My contractions began to come every 30 seconds and the pain was unbearable. Because they were coming so soon and so close, Brynlee's heart rate started dropping. About an hour after getting the epidural, which was the best thing ever, i was in the OR room being cut open. I was kind of in shock. I hadn't prepared myself for a C-section. About 10 minutes later, our sweet baby girl was born at 6:42 p.m.! i was so happy but unfortuneately i wasn't able to see her for about 45 minutes till i was done getting all stiched up. After i got settled in the room i got to hold her for the first time. I was so emotional and happy to be finally holding the baby i had been carrying for 9 months! After 3 lONG days in the hospital, i was ready to get my baby home! We were looking forward to having our little one at home and using all of her stuff that had been sitting in her room for months! :)
